depends on teh store, but most dont. they just give you store credit. Edgar R
Usually with gift cards you cant am afraid but there is no harm in asking
Hope they let you xx Jo H
Most of the time they say its non-redeemable…or ‘cannot be changed into cash’ or something like that…it defeats the purpose of a gift card! Gangsteer
In most places you can’t. You can buy something and then return it is the only way I see it. atomskld
Not usually. If the shop has a website check it out there. Alice
no, read the back of it.. it states it. sweetepetey
I don’t think they’d do that, you could sell it to a mate, or if that makes you feel bad sell it on E-bay the online store
If you don’t have an account im sure one of your friends will put it up for you =] Pompey is Alex
I doubt it. Shops need cash and dont want to give it out. It’s very unlikely they’ll allow it. SK
the ONLY way to convert it to cash is for them to issue a credit for the transaction which usually gets out back on a CC. The radioshack guy is right most places wont do this. LeviathanTM
i’m about 99% sure that no gift cards can be turned into cash
they are usually printed somewhere on there that it’s non-redeemable for cash Sharon F
Probably not. The department store I work for will only do it if you have not used anything on the gift card and if you have a receipt for the card. Bear’s Crazy Girl
