where do you live first of all?

depending on where you are, iTunes (iPod touch or computer) may or may not allow you to use an iTunes card to buy apps for an iPod touch… i have tried this myself and it did not work (I live in Canada)

EDIT: a note to all other answerers… this person is not asking about transfering songs/apps and things from an ipod… they are asking if they can use an iTunes gift card to buy apps either on the iPod touch or the computer for synching to an iPod touch mcdonaldcj

Yeah you should have no problem doing that. You can also get free $30 iTunes gift cards at very easily. I got one yesterday and I downloaded the new Madden NFL app and it is sweet! Love this thing. Josh
