Can you use iTunes gift cards without a credit card?

I’m a little confused. I’ve been reading similar questions and some people say you need a credit card to use an itunes gift card, and others are saying that you don’t need one. I was just wondering which is right because I don’t want to go buy a gift card, and find out that I can’t use it.

    You dont need a credit card if you use a giftcard.

    The whole idea behind a gift card is so you can use that instead of using a debit card or credit card. I’m sure you can purchase or reload a gift card with a credit card or any other form of payment you choose.

    you can use a gift card, there’s no reason it wont work, and you dont need a credit card.
