I can’t afford to send off packages this year but I want to make things a bit more fun than just a gift card. I am thinking about all the choices they might make at Home Depot like plants, organizing stuff, tools or appliances. I’m trying to do the same thing for Target. I think I can get on a roll if I had a line to start from.

What are some creative ways to wrap a gift card for a child?

I’m giving my niece and nephew gift cards for Christmas. However, I think the gift card should at least have some interesting enclosure (in case they don’t get a choice in how to spend it–like if they need new jackets or something). What would be some good ideas? They are 11 and 4.

I don’t really care where or what (bills, food, clothes, toys, etc. ) she uses it for but I don’t want her using it for cigarettes and beer for her dead beat illegal immigrant boyfriend.
