Do you need a different type of itunes gift card to buy apps?

I recently found out that there are two types of itunes gift cards. theres the regular apple itunes gift card and then there is the apple itunes app store giftcard. so i wanna know if I have to but the app store one, or if it doesn’t really matter.

Nah, doesn’t matter. Itunes cards are good for the whole itunes store. So you can buy anything with it.

Both will work for buying app, but you shouldn’t get neither one of them. Go to a local bank, and get a gift card, or use your debit card. Gift cards are free at some banks, plus the amount of money that you put on the gift card.
A gift card will be accepted everywhere that the company name on the gift card is accepted, such as visa or master card.
This way, you will be able to buy apps, but you won’t be stuck with wasting several cents.
If you have money left over, its very simple to go to a store and use it up. Steven
