GreenGrasshopper asked:

I live in the US and she’s having a baby. I was going to go to Babies R Us and get a gift card to send to her, but they don’t have Babies R Us stores in the Netherlands. Should I just send a Visa gift card instead?

No we don’t have Babies R Us over here, and actually I don’t think the Visa gift card works abroad either (I never heard of it until I saw it on Yahoo Answers and other users stated it could not be used in Europe)
is the equivilant for Mum’s & Baby’s, and they have a gift card system but it’s all in Dutch. You could try asking them if there are any possibilities and if you use Google translate then you can fill it in You can write in English no problem.

You might also consider buying something online from a site which delivers to the Netherlands. I personally used this site for personalised clothing for my son when he was a baby for a personalised present for his Dad’s birthday and they delivered quickly and it was a great present!

    Hope this helps blα blα
