How much should a person give in a gift card for a wedding present?
Myrie asked:
I need to buy a present for my friend’s wedding and I don’t want to buy something from her registry because I am too late to do so. I would like to buy her and fiancee a gift card instead. How much should I buy the gift card for? My sister says $50 is too little, I don’t have a big budget though and I will not be attending my friends wedding either due to work related problems. Help!!!

No set amount base it off what you want to give but more importantly what you can afford.
I was going to suggest under $50 Guitar player
It depends on the relation with your friend. Cost is not so important. Relation counts.

Depends on how close you guys are. If that’s what you can afford, than that’s what you give. brisa
If you can stretch to $55 you could have a print onto canvas of one of their wedding pictures: Kevin
I love the gift card thing. Your friendship is not based on the cost of the gift. It is from the heart that counts. Whatever you decide to give, ask your sister if she wants to match it. Ron John
