i just got an ipod touch for christmas and i want to add songs using my gift card. i was able to get four songs because two were free and the other two were songs that didn’t download on another ipod. my friend said to go to downloads and ill see it but i didn’t. please help me.

I got an apple gift card for Christmas and was wondering if i could buy songs off the computer using my gift card money. Is it possible?

My dad doesn’t believe in giving money for Christmas, and will not change his mind, but he has purchased gift cards for me in the past. Sometimes I would rather have the money than the gift card even though I do appreciate his gifts. I have a couple bills I need to pay and would like some spending money instead. If I get a hold of the receipt can I exchange the gift card for money and explain to the store that I want to return the gift card because it wasn’t what my family member expected their Christmas present to be?
