This weekend Im getting a gift card for my daughter. How much should I put on it?
This weekend Im getting my daughter a gift card for Christmas. Its a mall gift card so she can use it at all the stores she want to use it at. Im wonderin how much I should put on it. Her fave stores are Hollister, Aeropostale, Pacsun and American Eagle. Depending on these stores how much should I put on the card?’

100 dollars min. Those stores are pretty expensive.
answer mine? ♥jina.
Well, considering that those stores are VERY overpriced, probably a lot. Mannequin
Probably like $100 because most Hollister items are between $35-$45 on one item. that is before tax. KL
I think it depends on your budget – probably $50.00 but if you have unlimited funds or more you can spend, then..it’s up to you! Peace On Ice
If it’s the only gift your going to get her, I say $250 – $300. You can expect her to spend at least a hundred in Hollister. Depending on when she goes to the others and if she hits a sale than $50-75 at the others. Now if she’s getting other nice gifts, a hundred would be plenty. Liannah
well however much you want to….idk how muh money you have, so i cant really tell you, however…i dont like mall gift cards because you have to know how much is on and use exactly what is on it…and the people at the stores can’t tell you, you have to call the service # on the card, and it is a REAL BIG PAIN!
i would suggest just getting her smaller gift cards to her top stores. ❋Goodnight & Goodbye❋
50-60…putting more would be really generous and a bit much if shes still a teenager and in middle or high school…if shes off at college, put 100 to 150 since u aren’t there to get her those things like underwear or a new pair of jeans every time she needs them…any more would be a bit too much and u would be very much spoiling u kid i think and I don’t think she would appreciate the value of the dollars she spending if it were more…a pair of pants and a casual top would cost her about 70 on average for every one of those stores…or she can spend it on a really nice hoodie for the cold weather and a necklace…to me that is enough for a present no matter how much money u have flowing in to aid her out…you can always buy her a new wardrobe later and though the year, this cash is just to buy herself a little something she really truly wants the most, not hoards of clothing and shoes and jewelry to complete a new wardrobe…to me that is the purpose of a “gift” card… Jenn
like $500 because those stores are pricey! but she could get like three things for $100 or if you make her shop clearance rack (bad idea) then $60 will do the trick Bella Baybe
What??? lol!
Give her (???) about 100 dollars, and let her be on a budget. K Cockatiel♥Expert
